@Lysdexis @Gatordude @Flint1 and anyone I forgot to tag, my old man pulled the wires to remove the plugs and 6/8 of the silicone boots were deteriorated and arcing out. Sounds like a new set of wires took care of it. Kind of odd considering he only put that set in a couple years ago and the truck doesn't get used much.

 

Well, my old husky brushcutter/Trimmer gave out finally. So I went to buy a new one. Nobody had them in stock. I really dont need a brush cutter anymore where I am. So I just bought a heavy duty Trimmer. Bought a stihl 131 with Trimmer head, 3 and 4 blade heads aswell. Got the nicer upgraded harness....which is pretty decent. Got it home and got it altogether and put fuel in it. Put the harness on and adjusted it. Fired up the Trimmer. Then went to attach the harness to said Trimmer....no dice. WTF! The clamp is gone! Looked for it everywhere...nope. So I call up the dealer and they are going to order one. Swell, so my brand new Trimmer is completely useless for the next month or so. Awesome. Money well spent....lemme tell ya.

 

Nothing lasts forever!

 

Good thing the yard service came today...

 

Take them with you.

Useless? I use mine without a harness all the time.
