how are they paying? Percentage/commission or flat daily rate?

 

Virginia pays commission . Not all loads are the same. Loaded in Wilmington Delaware with 9 on and 7 drops in Sunbury Pa paid $134 . YES I typed that correctly!!!!

 

$134 to a company driver or to an owner operator/sub contractor?

Waddle= Flavor of the moment. 6 years ago it was USAL. 3 years ago it was Virginia/Car now it’s Waddle. Everyone running around talking about how great they are, said the same thing about the other three. They get on those five driver conference calls and hype each other up on how get it there. Waddle to will be on the list when the next big thing comes around. Find a company that has a solid contract at a plant or rail near you. Get onboarded and hustle out a lane. Don’t be fooled by every new big thing in this business. You’ll be chasing jobs from now until you either quit or burn out.

 

25 years as a OTR Car Hauler my friend is just looking at options. No one is jumping ship. Virginia has solid contracts just like others.

 

My friend was told that he would have to quit Virginia in order to be “considered” as a Waddle Employee. He was only exploring job opportunities.
