Hmm my memory is a little fuzzy but if you’ve got Bald Eagles that means you’ve been doing it for at least 10 years give or take lol think it goes Apprentice, Adept and Master falconer and Eagles being one of the birds you can only get once you’re a Master, luckily for me my favorite is a Red Tail

I don't have them, they allow me to live next door to their nest. Nice folks, good neighbors.

We call them trash raptors. Whenever folks come to visit and they want to see eagles, I tell them to goto the dump. They are thick there. :p

The crappy thing about living here is the stuff you take for granted. We have eagles at my house all the time. I can go fishing or hunting and be in the mountains in minutes. I don't think much of it. Then I see folks here from back east that are all wide eyed at everything. Sometimes you loose track of the beauty around you.

They got up on my brand new roof on the truck bay in my shop- took dumps there that would make an elephant proud.

Death is inevitable. Thus, it is not the worst thing that can happen. There are much worse things.
Some don’t have a choice on how they live, but they still have a choice. When I was a kid, Sally Struthers told me that there were 20 million starving children in Africa. Now, Sally is really fat and tells me that there are 60 million starving kids. Sounds to me like people who had no choice made a choice.

Did they have education and opportunities? What about civil unrest and ethnic cleansing? Or did they stand around waiting for someone else to make their choices for them? ‘Why should I feel sorry for people who made the wrong choices in life?’

The only true wealth that any of us will ever have is
    1 Friends
    2 Family
3 the Name we make for ourselves.

Your name is the most valuable thing you will ever possess. Your parent gave you the name. You are the one that give that name value. Your time is the most valuable thing that you could EVER give another person. Protect your wealth!

Are there Americans who do not have friends, family and a name? Absolutely. So there are poor people in America.

Nah. I aint got no gripes with Amish if that's the case, build darn nice sheds & log homes those folks. Although I do believe @shooter19802003 is down in the big city and I'm hill folk. Curiously, considering how friendly we are, we don't cotton to strangers much these parts. Especially hippies. And Commies. Banjos? Y'all hear banjos? I hear banjos.

Lol, I'm far from the big city. I'm north of graingeville. I can see the Fenn elevators from my place.

Edit: BTW: I live in a log home. Ohhh, how I hate log homes. The amount of maintenance is insane. I've spent the majority of my summer sanding and stripping. At this rate it will probably be next year before I rechink and reseal it. Ugh...

You are out on the Camas that counts as not being in the big city. What's that place over there that has great taco Tuesdays?

Log houses are a constant PITA. When you sell one it's work work work & "take a picture, QUICK!"
