unfortunately after about 6 months of trying to get into windy hill I lost my wife and they called me the day after her passing. Problem is I have a 15 month old I have to take care of. So I cant leave my child for 2-5 weeks for a job. So I am trying to find someone that does local work so I can be home every day. But thanks anyway.

My son has been with Windy Hill for a year now and he's all over the place. Right now, he's headed for Wisconsin and tomorrow he'll be heading for Missouri. He was given the choice of going home to Florida for Thanksgiving or Christmas. He chose Thanksgiving. He loves working for Windy Hill mainly because they treat him well and they keep him on the road constantly. Very rarely does he have to 'sit'. Hope all works out for you Wallytrucker. My son, Nick, had a very good trainer. He drives a very nice truck, all automatic. He gets to go home once a month if he wants or needs to. If not, they will keep him moving. My problem is the weather up here...drives a mother crazy and I'm glued to the weather channel most of the time. Good thing is that Windy Hill does not want them to drive when the weather is crap. Good luck all and have a wonderful Christmas!! Bgirl:biggrin_25525:

Yeah their not bad. The industry in it's self is bad. Eric gets in what i call "Eric land" but he's not that bad of a guy. As long as u don't act like a winnie little kid he's all right. I've heard from a few drivers to stay with them because other companies are F'ed up. I'm not going any where. just out here to get my two years in and I'm gonna start looking for a local job. Being out here sucks. Although i get to see family a haven't seen in a long time here and there. We do need to boycott ALG!!!!!!!! They take FOREVER!!!!!!!! I'm just rambling now........LOL Just bored at Plainview on Christmas and the hot blonde chic doesn't work here anymore from what I've seen. Oh well. :biggrin_2556:

Well Nick...I see you found something to do while you're stuck sitting in Wisconsin waiting on the weather to get better. This is a good forum...stick with it. The peeps in here are cool. Love you.....Mom :biggrin_25522:
