BEST Shipper Ever. Why can't they all be like this?

Good day drivers!

I am new to the forum and looking forward to joining this amazing community.

I don't know policy on putting in names (good or bad) so I'll leave name out for now.

Last Friday I picked up a load in Buffalo New York. It was a Hazmat load headed down to Phoenix Arizona for delivery on Monday.

Pulled up to their gate and press the button to call the intercom. Got an answer immediately provided my name delivery location and pick up number and the person on the intercom assigned me a dock right away. I could see past the gate they were all straight back set ups with plenty of room to maneuver.

Backed into my dock and BAM, dock plate hits trailer. Go inside to checkin, shipping manager greets me politely and points out all relevant info on BOL. This was a HAZMAT load so he handed me the placards I needed. Went outside and I didn't even have the last placard on my trailer before the light turned green and I was all set to go. In and out in 15 minutes, with loaded trailer, placards on, seal on and tandems locked in to evenly distribute weight.

No scales and no overnight parking are only ticks they get. But it wasn't a huge facility. I am sure if they were bigger they would have it!

Easily a 9/10 for pick up location

Anyone else have any positive experiences this week (I know it's rare out here unfortunately)? Feel free to post about it. And discuss why isn't every shipper in the USA like this one!? Life would be amazing...
