Their list doesn't show which ones were former Travel Ports, Burns Bros. or Union 76. That leaves memory to know which ones were bought or changed over from Truckstops of America. Thanks

Do you know if the one in Henrietta ever a Travel Port or was that just an original T/A? I know it was
very small, next to a Days Inn, and had no restaurant. It's a Gulf-branded place now and the owners
are not that nice. I asked him about it and he just shrugged, acting like he didn't care.

Buzzarddriver, the one you're thinking of was my favorite place as a kid, the old Bingo fuel stop/
Burns Brothers in Minden, Iowa. I was five when we stopped there and I saw the neatest
Navajo Express/Digby Trucking rig. The owner was so kind and I'll never forget the great time
I had. It now stands demolished with nothing but the sign posts. Exit 29 off I-680.

Two in Maryland: Elkton (T/A) and Frederick (demolished). Frederick location was
somehow related to Bill's Truck Stop in Linwood, North Carolina but I have no idea how.
I did know Frederick was a favorite of many drivers and I've been told it was a bad day
in the trucking industry the day it closed to make room for a Costco.

    bthomann,

The owner of Bill's Truck Stop in Linwood, NC was the owner of 76 in Frederick, Md. It was sold and a Costco Warehouse now sits on the grounds.

You mentioned you wanted the Union 76's east of the MIssissippi, so here are
some 76 locations we could think of in Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee:

Kentucky: Calvert City (demolished), Corbin (demolished), Florence (T/A),
Lexington (standing but not operating), Morton's Gap (Pilot), Sonora (Pilot),
    and Waddy (demolished)

Ohio: Franklin (demolished), Hebron (T/A), Jeffersonville (T/A), Kingsville (T/A),
Lodi (demolished), London (T/A), Napoleon (Fuel King), New Paris (demolished),
North Baltimore (Petro), North Canton (T/A), North Lima (standing but not operating),
Perrysburg (T/A), Wapakoneta (independent franchise T/A), and Youngstown (T/A).

Tennessee: Antioch (T/A), Chattanooga (standing but not operating), Denmark (T/A),
Franklin (T/A), Greeneville (independent franchise T/A), Kingsport (demolished),
Knoxville East (demolished), Knoxville West (T/A), Lebanon (demolished), and
    Monteagle (demolished).

TAs in Troutdale, Or and Ft Bridger, Wy were Burns Brothers. There were 76s in Blythe, Ca, Tuscon, Az one exit east of the TTT, Sacramento, Ca (49er now), Sparks, Nv (Sierra Sids TA), Buttonwillow, Ca (TA), Amarillo (where the TA is now but torn down and rebuilt), Okie City (West TA), Rockwall, Tx (where the TA is now but torn down and rebuilt), Sweetwater, Tx TA, on the east side of Meridian, Ms TA, and I think the Redding TA and Tooele, Ut were 76s too.
edit, Forgot. I think Denton, Tx TA was a 76
