Prime currently doing hair testing?

    Could I just go get a new DOT physical/drug test and not mark that I've used pot? Would that make my original null and void? or would it still be on file? Prime doesn't have my original on file yet.

    If it doesn't work out with Prime, Stevens Transport hires in California. Millis Transfer does not hire in California.

    Many companies will as long as he can pass a urine test.
    Western Express is one of them.
    Plenty more on Facebook. There's a section on there with trucking company jobs available.

    No need! Your physical has nothing to do with drug testing. If you have "used" pot don't get all that upset. The primary thing is to stay clean. YOU DO NOT want to pop a positive on a real DOT urine test.

    The primary problem with hair testing is not the clearinghouse. It's going to be why were you sent home. To be honest it is difficult in today's world to hide drug histories.

    I find it strange that the confession of weed use is on your medical card. Point being, if you used 2 years ago, you have nothing to worry about. You should be able to pass any test, hair follicle or pee. Just follow the advice given you...I'm with @Chinatown . He gave you a couple of options. Apply to Prime. Apply to Stevens. Apply to anyone that'll get you experience, but when it comes to those questions, less is more.

    A woman posted on here a year or more ago about the same issue.
    During a DOT physical she said she used weed several months ago; maybe she said a year.
    Company wouldn't hire her.
    She went to a CVS Pharmacy I think it was or a different facility and got a new physical and on that one didn't say she had smoked weed.
    Then she was immediately hired by a different company. During orientation, she said her conscience was bothering her, so she told this new company what she did. She was shocked that they immediately fired her.

    I know. At the time I didn't know how all this works, hadn't done any research. I was just there at the busy doctor's office feeling rushed to complete the paperwork and figured it was just best to be honest so as to not somehow get ###### down the line. But I guess I ###### myself, haha. When I made this post I actually thought hair tests reveal several years of drug use, not several months. Now I know that's not the case. So I should be good. But I also haven't cut my hair since I used...so you never know. Guess I'll be chopping off my mane.

    Years ago I had hernia surgery and never let any company know about it. Some companies won't hire someone that's every had hernia surgery, no matter how long ago it was. Hurt my back in the military and never listed that either.

    Would you say that what I marked on my physical would give them incentive to hair test me, though?
