Tried one of those mini ball polishers on the steers I took off. Cleaned up real nice

 

Dude I bought it from was a biker dude. Zz top beard, leather vest etc. Said his freinds laughed at it, once.
He rode it to sturgis twice, and down the coast highway to mexico. It had a "live to ride, ride to live" decal when I bought it.
It was my wifes, but she hated riding in town. I used it as a work commuter. 91 MPG.

 

Trans is off to the rebuilder.

And I'm working late to grab a load to dump un the am and then going to enjoy my weekend.

The little paccar is chuggin along at almost 7mpg.

 

Not what i wanted to tell you guys but eh not impressed with the mechanical pump. Was pushing 40-42 psi of boost before with the semi electronic pump. Now 34 maybe 35 after turning it all the way up w/o shaving the fuel plate to a #100 cut. Used to smoke the 99 but now it's the other way round. Trial and error Lol. Not blaming the pump guy at all. Dad's gonna call him tomorrow the pumps probably gonna go back up there. We told him we didn't want it smoking terribly but it ain't smoking at all now haha.

All he knows is mechanical. Only thing we can think of is he didn't realize how much the half breed pumps flow. Love the throttle response but it just doesn't have the ### it did before

 

And that was a long time ago so I should have a much better chance It’s like steering a boat

 

I think it’s just a military thing. It’s a JCB backhoe that is armored up. Almost 31k on the deck.

Couple things, adding shut off to a full tank is less than stellar idea, and ready to work in the AM.
