Ok here is another one - I have a Prostar 2009 and i keep getting an Yaw sensor error on the ABS, which is the ABS box located on the frame behind the cab. it is supposed to protect you form a roll over, ????
Anyway its a $1500 plus sensor that will never save my butt in a situation.
The question is --- on the Prostar is there anyway to program the particular unit out of the system so the ABS system is no longer looking for it or at it for a fault???
and if i can how do i do it????

It can be programmed out, but this has just started arguments on here before because many shops don't want the liability of downgrading a safety feature.

Anyway, a lot of these errors are communication errors with the device due to corrosion in the connector at the yaw sensor. Try disconnecting it and make sure everything looks clean and reconnect it with dielectric grease.

I have , we have already put in @ 3 hrs of labor chasing the faulty wiring, at his point it will be cheaper to just code it out.
What program is needed to program it out and how do you do it??
My shop thought they could but it won't program out for them. is there a trick to delete it from the "System"

    Bendix or Wabco?
Bendix needs Acom, Wabco needs Wabco toolbox software. There might be free versions that do not allow that level of change. We have full versions.

    Hi all
On my 2015 Prostar, I changed a bad L/F drive wheel sensor, ( broken wire ) . Cleared that code with my Nexiq reader, now I have a yaw rate sensor code and Abs Module message on my display. Will the yaw rate sensor give that message?

Yes the yaw rate will throw the ABS light on.

When I get home time to troubleshoot, I see Bendix has a great online trouble shooting manual, Thank you
