    Harrisonville, MO at the Love's.

This load delivers Monday in Bloomington, MN so it had a t-call in Edwardsville.
Saturday, today, and I would have had it there by 1300.
The pplan they sent me didn't pick up until tomorrow at 1700, right around the corner from here, and didn't deliver until Tuesday in Menomonie, WI.
That is a lot of sitting no matter which load I had, so I had the t-call removed so I could deliver this load a day earlier.
I guess loads are a bit scarce this weekend.

    Team818 Thanks this.

I finally got my million mile truck ordered, 7 months after i hit a million miles.
Doubt I'll get it before this time next year, but the order is in.
Freightliner with the million mile decal, black cherry in color.

My DM had to connect to the link because for some reason they would not send it to my personal e-mail.
Something about possibly forwarding the message, or something.
Which leaves me a bit confused, because originally they said they sent the link to my phone in a text. I never got the text.
But what is so sensitive and secure that they would worry about it being forwarded from my personal e-mail, when they don't consider a text to my phone in the same way?
Who would I forward it to, and why??? It is just a few simple questions as to the truck I would like.

Team818, dptrucker and dwells40 Thank this.

I really hate it when they wait too long.

A pplan came in and it didn't have the time I needed for delivery, so I countered it with a delivery time 2 hours later.
2 hours later they said, OK we'll take those times, and committed me to the load.
That leaves me very short on time for the pickup, because I could have started rolling to the pickup if it had been accepted earlier.
Very short because I am bobtail for a live load, and I have to stop along the way to find an mt.

I often just decline loads with minimal time when I have no empty, if no empty no big hurry or it gets declined.

The mt was right on the way to my pickup so it worked out well.
I had to start driving before 0500, but other than that I left myself plenty of time on this load.

And this load gets me home, after nearly 7 weeks out.
My next home time won't be until 09/02 so I can go the my nephew's wedding.

    Team818 Thanks this.

    Home again, home again...
And I got my second dose of the vaccine today.
So far the same reaction as the first shot. A slightly sore arm but no other side effects so far.
I have heard, and I was warned, that the second shot can be much worse than the first for the side effects.

And I guess I need a new phone.
My DuraForce Pro isn't charging correctly. I think it is the charging socket.
Luckily T-Mobile just started carrying a new phone with similar specs. For the longest time they had nothing to compare with the durability of the DuraForce.
I've had the phone for around 5 years, so I guess it's about time for a replacement. Good phone, though.

    Team818 and dptrucker Thank this.

Moosetek13 check where you phone plugs in to charge. That little opening gets full of lint and crap. I was having problems getting mine to charge a few months ago and like you thought the socket was bad. I went to US cellular to look at new phones and the worker had a metal dental pick and just started pulling lint and fuzzies out of there like you wouldn't believe then she hit it with canned air. 3 years of crap was pulled out. She said they have a few people stop in every week because their phones don't want to charge. It's rarely an issue with the charging socket. Maybe this will help maybe not but it's something to remember.
