The place next to the Pilot in Joplin, Missouri is good. Also the big Apple truck stop at x13 in Joplin area.

Butter chicken which is basically chicken in a white cream sauce ( not spicy ) with a side of rice.

Chicken Biryani is mixed with rice, vegetables, and spices. They typically ask how spicy you want it.

Garlic Naan is like garlic pita bread, goes well as a side for most dishes.

 

Butter Chicken is excellent but fattening as all get out. Everything on Indian menus is great,,,but not everyone likes curry,,,nor does everyone like chitlins.

 

The fuel king T/S in Napoleon, OH is now owned by Indians. Formerly was Greek owned.

Anyhow stopped in there today and ordered togo. Chicken curry with garlic Naan for lunch. Excellent.

And for dinner Chicken Biryani, its different than the few times I've tried it in the past but still very good. Almost seemed to be more of a Chinese version, like fried rice kinda. Here's a picture of it, not sure what the red sauce is but, not spicy at all. Maybe @LoneRanger knows?

I'd definitely eat there any day of the week versus the fast food garbage the other 3 truck stops across the highway sell.

Pump price on fuel was .31 cheaper than the big 3 also.

I love Indian food. Some of the hole in the wall places have great dishes. It’s been too long since I’ve had it. Now I’ll be looking for a place tomorrow.
