Where is everyone #5

Well for ####s and giggles I stopped by the local dealer to get a trade in value on my truck. Offered me 12k. More than I expected but not enough to be able to trade with em I don't think unless they come off theirs or up on mine.

 

Wow, thats a flashback. See names in those pictures and posters haven’t thought about in years.

 

Good thing I read this.

 

Breakfast for supper. Scrambled eggs with cut up hotdogs, shredded cheese, and a few jalapeños.

 

Had a FL dealer call me today. I told him to text me. I was loading. Tells me they will have a great supply of used Mid roofs Petes and FL coming in soon. Willing to deal. I replied I'm not interested in any trucks. Trailers maybe. Goes on to say, I'll stay in touch. My response was "Dont bother I'm not buying trucks"

Now my question is why are they reaching out to little me?

Did someone make a deal with a fleet to trade in trucks to up the used market?

FL and IH have almost broke themselves a few times with that deal. Guaranteed trade in with new purchase. Everytime floods the market and bottoms out truck prices.


Maybe its just me. I've seen it before. But anyway you look at me, I'm along way down on customer list.

 

Well I let you guys down. They had lights out and my phone wasn't charged. It was my first time in that location.

Mr. Yagle was well known around here. But I'm 25 miles from Roders. Long sad story and no longer a Harley dealer. But George Jr. In short is still running the old shop and selling used bikes. My guess you would know of George Roder Sr.

 

I love scouts. Brings back good memories. My grandma had one, then gave it to my uncle. He sunk it in a lake ice fishing prolly 10 years ago.
