Good morning,
I am having a heck of a time trying to find a brake master cylinder with a 1 3/4" bore and triangle 3 bolt pattern, for my old 1969 International Loadstar 1700 series. I have tried looking just about everywhere I can think of and no one has any. Does anyone here have any suggestions for possible alternatives in the event one cannot be located? The truck is only used as a farm truck on a primarily flat piece of property, so the brakes don't have to be "perfect", would just like to be able to slow down without yanking the e-brake.
Any insight into possible solutions is much appreciated!

What about building an adapter plate and adapting a more modern master cylinder
Piece of 1/4 steel or smaller and drill holes mount it and tack weld 2 bolts to plate steel. Mount new cylinder to that.
Drill center hole big enough for rod.
I am assuming it is a dual circuit, or a single circuit?.OldLoadstar, AModelCat, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
