    I remember back when Radio Shack would pull that type of stunt with sales flyers in the mail. You'd pay full price at the store for something, and a week later the sales ad would show up in the mail with the item you just purchased at a 30% discount :(

    Got my Wouxon KG-1000G today. They are still showing backordered on BTWR site so I guess they are fulfilling prepaid before releasing the hounds IMG_20210730_132434745.jpg

    Barely got it unboxed. I ordered a base antenna and SWR meter. I already have LMR400 running out to my little tower so when I mount the GMRS antenna I'll simply disconnect from the CB antenna and hook to GMRS. Like I may have mentioned before, there is a very active group of guys on the repeaters near me in North GA. I think the easiest one for me to hit would be ATL550 Mica

    Got my Ed Fong J Pole antenna, just need to assemble it and get it up on the tower. My thoughts were to get everything put together before buying the license, in the hopes the price drops to the promised $35. If I get everything ready and the price is still $70, I guess I'll bite the bullet and pay
