I have alot of wear on the inside rib of both duals. Which explains the shoulder. The Bearings/wheels were coc.ked. Because the stub is thinner on the bottom than top. Just sucks, sat 2 weeks at the house working on it. All the while my truck was at rush and they said everything was OK. #######!

1980 CB900. 5 speed with a high and low. A coworker years back had one. Beat up and wornout. Then I got to ride a original spotless low mile one. Man that was a cool bike. Completely unnecessary. But fun.

Honda is an innovative company. The engineering and willingness to build and try things is missing from a lot of companies today. They did a few tries with an oval piston engine, the NR 750 was actually built and raced. Rules would not allow V8 engines, so Honda built a V4 that was within the rules. Just a V8 in disguise. An engine that spun upwards of 21000 rpms and held together.

I wonder why nobody tried a rotary in a bike?

  6. It is so nice to walk up to the Counter at KW and ask for a part and the guy says "Ya we got one, may take a few days to get it." So they sell me the faceplate (clear plastic $ 18. and the sticker is $11.

Instead of the T660 guy who was in front of me gets this response "Ya I cant find that part anywhere in the USA, It may take a year to make and get the Part"

There is a guy here who is getting his truck/trailer repoed I'm the parking lot. He has been waiting a sensor for a week. They said it is out 6 to 8 weeks min before they can get one. Apparently it helps meter the Def. So he needs it. There are 6 other trucks here now in the same boat for the same part. Thats messed up. I feel bad for the guy. The supply chain is all messed up because of the scamdemic. Another guy has been waiting on a bearing for 3 days now. Sucks. Things are just going to get worse. The one guy has been down and has been sleeping here in the lounge. Pulled 2 chairs next to each other for 3 days. Dang. If I would have known that, I would have let him sleep in my room on the floor. Atleast he could have gotten a shower.

I have held an oval piston in my hands. Way cool.
My freind used to own the local motorcycle wrecker around here. He was a cb750k, vf750f, and cbx1100 collector. His wife's street bike was 3 cyl, 2 stroke NS500.
I have 84 VF750F in the yard. My freind abandoned it a few years ago, it will be disposed of soon. I built the motor for it 16 years ago. They were famous for eating cams. Only replacements we could find were race cams. Was pretty quick for the heavy log it was.

Gm was involved in a lawsuit with honda in the 70s. If memory serves honda installed a CCVC head on a small block, to prove how their tech made it run better and cleaner. The general was not amused.

I've said it before, it pays to hoard parts.

This is yet another reason new trucks suck. All that proprietary junk you can only get from a dealer. Miss the old days when you could walk in anywhere and get parts for any of your trucks.

Yeah it's ridiculous. We've been down 7 weeks now I think. The $ lost from down time is a real hit. If we had a truck payment we'd be done for.
