Official line is they're going to the little Petes to get the weight down to pull more in the even lighter weight trailers we're getting. I hear conflicting stories depending on who I'm talking to. Not looking forward to being stuck in one of those things either.

It gets worse at Swift... no apus, limited idling time, and if you bust your limit they start taking it out of your paycheck - from a Swift thread about idling.

Let's also mention that the "Big Guns" (and most O/O's) will be competing against NAFTA trucks....Which despite what some posters here will beyatch and moan about and claim this is false and "Racist"....are exempt from certain rules...like CARB......

CARB cannot prohibit those trucks from operating N/O the border......CARB regs do not supersede the NAFTA agreements.....

Those that are saying that they were put into one of those aren't dedicated.

They got the certificate without the small Petes.

I asked this once before, If you have one of those trucks, then the rider program does not exist...correct?
