Across the isle from that grill at that Great America, they had 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles.
One was a kitty. The other was all the species of cactus in Arizona, with the majestic Saguaro in the center.
I think either of these would be ideal for Opus.
What if it Snows?

Amended the last quarter IFTA. Missed a few trips/ miles. MPG avg. came up to 5 mpg from 4.3. I should have known something was wrong. MPGs have never been that low. Hopefully once it’s broken in, and overheads ran, I’ll get closer to 6. Little Detroit needs light loads and flat land to see 7 mpg.I used to squeeze 7.75 from my Last Detroit, compared to my old 425 Cat, that got 5.2-5.8 at best. If I just Drove it, without really watching the fuel, it got 5.2-5.3mpg heavy empty, windy, or not, didn’t matter. More Torque more consistent. The Cat pulled so much better heavy, than my Detroit’s. It was a fun Truck to Drive. Like Driving a Hot Rod.

MPGs are up this quarter. 5.5. Not bad considering how much I idle. Probably be around 5.9 without. Really need an APU set up. Fuels going nowhere but up. I think I can almost count on another .3-.5 mpg. once it gets 70k on the rebuild. Best I’ve ever gotten, when I first bought the Truck, was 5.8 winter and 6.2 Summer, with very little idling. That’s when it had 75k on the last rebuild. This Truck has never gotten good fuel economy. Guy I bought it from, said it got 5-5.5 since new. Running heavy at 75 mph all the time. I run 65-70. But it was only getting 5.4 for the longest, then kept going down, had a blown injector and a cracked head, when I inframed it. Ran about 3000 miles with a blown injector and 1500 miles with a cracked head. . MPGs were 4-4.3 with blown injector. It’s a wonder I didn’t end up needing a Tow Truck. Gotta do something for excitement.
