You can buy the unimount nuts that have a bushing attached to it. I forget the name. The bushing slips between the stud and the rim hole. All you need is 3 of them to center it out.Skirt Nut UNI-MOUNT Wheel Lug Nuts | 33mm Hex | 22x1.5 | 28mm Sleeve | 20 Pieces | eBay

My mechanic uses the ones for the steer axle. I may give those a try on my drives.

Might do both. Get the pins and the sleeved nuts. Why not. Thanks fellas. I really appreciate all the help.

Tell ya what I ran into recently, put new drums & shoes on my drives ( stud pilot ).

One drum was wrong, center was 1/8” smaller diameter than the others, made that set of duals look like a set of wobbly Dayton’s......

That axle has new brakes aswell, but the wobble started a ways after that....but I can check that too, after I get it apart.

Well fingers crossed I don’t crash and burn today; I just realized there’s a guard shack and I’m gonna be rolling up in a cop car with illegal window tint and a driver side window that doesn’t roll down :biggrin_25523:

I'm not a fan of those on duals. Plus on set of pins you can reuse over and over.

Remember, afew places sell pins. But only one I know of are threaded.

The slide on non threaded are useless in my experience and testing.
