You better start preparing yourself for the fact you probably gonna take it in the ### on your 579 since its now been in a accident they will use that as a reason to give you nothing for it .. and you've got 9 pages of reasons in this thread of why they won't give you sh@! for it on trade... just saying .. cause I fore see there will be another page or 2 of how they are hosing you on trade value

While it’s probably true they won’t give you what you want for trade value, I still feel like it’s your best option. You could try advertising it and someone might buy it unless they do a Rig Dig report on it.
If you keep on going like this, you’re looking at getting it repossessed because nobody can afford that. If you get a new one at least it will be a good dependable truck with warranty for you to finally start making some money and turning things around.
Personally I’d get brand new for two reasons. They’ll work with you the best on your trade in, and you can’t afford another lemon. Best of luck. I’m sorry about all your problems. -
I know im being #####y and whiney and appoligize for such. Especially for my own stupidity in buying used. But ive not got a lot of other options for advice. Honestly ive already decided if i can dump this truck for cost i am going to go to pacclease and lease a brand new truck with full repairs included to get me back on my feet, then buy something brand new once said lease is up and i recover from this ordeal. Plan B is to find old iron and manually rebuild it. -
Wow $13,000 is really bad. I was thinking they would surely give you $30,000 trade in. Used trucks are selling good right now. I bet you could sell it on TruckPaper for around $30,000 maybe a bit more. Wouldn’t hurt to try. Your first listing is free.
Vampire Thanks this. -
That suck's when you get in that position.. I don't have the answer.. other than if you can sit down with a dealer and get them to work the paper work so the difference in what you owe on your 579 gets transfered to the payment on a new truck.. then you have to be comfortable with that payment otherwise you end up right where your at now again I hope something works out in your favor ..
