Getting Back Into Driving

Hello: I have a question which I hope you guys can help me with. I drove a truck over the road for about 6 years(1999-2005). In 2005 I had a heart condition which I had to stop driving to take care of my health. I have not driven since 2005 and feeling better these days and would like to get back into driving big truck again. I would like to know if my heart condition will stop me from getting back on the road again. My doctor has informed me that it would be okay with him if I go back driving as long as I continue to take my medication. Will any company hired a driver that has had a heart problem but has it under control and also will DOT give me a hard time. I know I might have to start over as a NEWBIE since I have not driven for a long time, but will have not problem with that. Just want to get back on the road again. Do you know of any companies that are hiring. Thank You. bigballer
