This was posted in our Milwaukee paper today. It's a cop giving a guy a DWI roadside test on I-894. The driver was 0.11
For Wisconsinites, I guess that BAC is rather LOW...Usually people are 2-3x the legal limit - what a joke.

I thought that the rig captured in the background was pretty awesome.

Hey Hanadarko, Ive been on I-94 by Kenosha going back home to Green Bay when a pick up truck hit the cement barriers in the middle of the highways and did not bother stopping. I called into 911 and the lady kept me on the phone , he took an xit but they got him. That was kinda wierd. When I look back in the 8 years of 11 years of holding a CDL it's interesting all the things Ive seen and come across.

Milwaukee County Sheriff's Deputy Tony Kasta directs Michael Bradshaw (left) in a field sobriety test Thursday, December 17, 2009 along I-894 in West Allis, Wis. Bradshaw, who has no previous traffic violations, was stopped after a motorist called 911 to report him and then followed him until deputies pulled him over. The Racine resident, who was on his way home, had a blood alcohol level of .11. The legal defintion for intoxicated driving is .08. On Wednesday, the Legislature overwhelmingly approved a bill that would toughen the state's drunken driving laws by making fourth offenses felonies and requiring more offenders to install ignition interlocks on their vehicles. The bill also eliminates a provision that provides lighter penalties for those with a blood-alcohol level between 0.08 and 0.10, compared with those above 0.10. Those with lower blood-alcohol levels would face the same penalties as those of 0.10 or above.

This cop seems a bit over weight, do you think they will measure his neck do a B M I and make him take a sleep test?

On a totally unrelated note? :)

On another totally unrelated note - I don't think he looks too bad. I think it's a combination of his vest, belt, and safety vest that makes it look that way.

The guy he's testing looks more like a zombie than anything. :)

I knew a gal in oregon that had one of the machines in her car that she had to blow in to get the car started but it was a joke, she had her kids blow into it or conn someone else into doing it, she got turned in for it once but she got off, so those lockout machines arent much good.
