So after being at ABW for close to 3 hours switched to split sleeper. Got back my time. Got load out of lanett al, wanted to be able to make it back to Cville for the night because this is my load home. Get down here to lanett to find out they haven’t loaded a trailer since 6am because their production line is down. So here I sit with 40 of my closest friends……..

was there no loads there my buddy is on the way there now to pick up

 

He is lucky they started loading about 2 hours ago. Pretty sure he just pulled up and got a dock right away.

 

You know it’s not good news when you wake up and you are the only truck still left at the shipper. Apparently they don’t have my product. Which sucks because this is or was the load that’s supposed to get me home. Have to decide if just getting back to Atlanta and buying a plane ticket is the best option. Will wait on dispatcher to get in.

I've been getting cut off a lot more lately, I must be one of the people that's indirectly raised the numbers. One lady cut me off early one morning in broad daylight, and we were the only two on the interstate there then. Another woman was braking hard as she cut me off to stop before she rear ended the last car stopped in the exit lane she was headed for. What's the point in any of that?

 

I feel for you. I heard "we haven't even brewed the beer you're supposed to pick up yet" once, but that wasn't the homebound load for me. I wish you well.

 

They got me a different load to the same place this morning. So other then getting home a couple hours later than planned all worked out.

 

Strange you mention Lanette because my load out of Michigan tomorrow delivers there. Knauf? I wonder if they'll reload me out of there.

I picked up in Cedar Springs yesterday for the first time in more than a year. There's a whole lot less dropped Millis trailers in there and a whole lot more dropped Firstfleet trailers than I remember before. I guess they're trying to take all of our papermill business.
