Get your money back and go to Walmart
Add up to $100 to what your were going to spend on that used POS from the sheister.
Buy what you can afford and you will get a fully legal operating system.
That clown was willing to make you a criminal, if his laptop is inspected while crossing an international border and found to have a pirated copy of windows you could be charged. -
Well it outta be nice. The suckin thing is new. Too bad it's not mine. Be careful what you wish for
....they pull way harder than people realize. I dictate the speed limit around me. -
You can back those up though.....right?
Still beats the heck out of the dolly doubles we have. It would just be nice to have the option. I would take that route over the multi axle flatbed crap we have in the pnw.cke, PoleCrusher, jamespmack and 3 others Thank this. -
Yeah they are easy to back up. I been doing it a few years it's when I try back up a straight trailer that I have to pause an think a sec.

I did. The meritor shifts from low to high using an electronic signal down to 2 solenoids on the back of the trans. The harness was grotty and wasn't getting a good connection. I decided to just replace it instead of messing around with it again.
Too close to harvest time for a 97 dollar harness to put me out of commission for a couple of days or more depending on stock and shipping times. Dealer had it next day so I put it on and ran a load today.
Everything worked as intended so should be trouble free for awhile if I can figure out how to drive stick again. -
I've often wondered why we don't run that type setup down here. There's guys running 4 axle hoppers and 4 axle trucks that carry quite a bit during certain times of the year. I can permit over 85k in Arkansas during harvest which is Jan 1 to Dec 31 as defined by the state. But idk how much over 85k they'll let me permit.cke, PoleCrusher, jamespmack and 1 other person Thank this.

I turned down local work because I would have put another axle under my truck and I would have to buy a 4 axle+ flatbed. All the while my new spread axle would just sit out in the weeds I guess. We can scale 100k plus here because they afe considered a separate axle group. It's not worth all that to me. Plus, i would be stuck with a trailer that wouldn't be good for anything else. If I could run it other places than here and prolly Michigan, I would do it. However, to me it kinda drives down the price of freight. Because now you are hauling more weight, which equals more wear and tear, more fuel use and slightly better pay. Kinda law of diminishing returns kinda thing in my eyes. Btw: I also wonder who came up with the 48k minimum BS. Who decided that 48k was what everyone needed to haul?cke, PoleCrusher, Lostkeys and 4 others Thank this.
