I am here... trying to "catch up" with this thread...
Not much to do this weekend... other than do some reading... and going to a friend's place on Sunday... up there near KY again... same place I was a couple weekends ago...

 

Finally got the "new" used laptop working... The computer guy thought he had installed Windows 10 but he installed Windows 8...
No wonder he couldn't find the code key to activate Windows...
So... after a couple hrs, he removed Windows 8 and installed Windows 10... And everything is working fine now...
I installed once again Avast antivirus, Firefox browser, printer/scanner... and tomorrow will get my Windows office in the storage and install the rest of it...

 

It looks like you gained a lot of weight since last time we met...

The reason I apologized wasn't for my opinion... but for expressing it in this thread... I had no intention to insist in the subject here but couldn't control my urge to make the comment.
Coincidentally, after that I got super busy.. and still am... with no time to hang out in the forum... Just "taking a break" now... and not sleepy at all... Will get busy again starting on Sunday and next week.

 

I agree with you, sir.. about the decay of "our" society... it's sick...
About that hotel... I slept there one night and left... came to this other... my regular "hometime" hotel across from my storage..
No bed bugs here...
Other than that, only the small c ock roaches... neighbor lent me some bug killer to spray everywhere... it works some...

 

I was in TN border with KY.... "hill-billy" place.... no internet signal... Had a wonderful weekend with a couple friends of mine... I will go back there this coming Sunday... but only the lady will be there... her husband will be trucking...

 

Folks in Brasil use Whatsapp a lot for everything... almost all businesses use that app for communication with customers, even the power company, commercial businesses. That app is good for exchanging pictures, videos, all kinds of files and international calls.
I exchanged phone numbers with some Americans that did have that app installed and we were able to communicate while I was there.

 

Not as far as in Brasil... but still... will be back there on Sunday... right next to Tennessee river and Kentucky lake. It's a resort area..
