Tyson Foods to Require COVID-19 Vaccinations for its U.S. Workforce

I walked away from pro sports last year and I haven't missed it at all. I thought I would but I haven't, I found other things to do.

 

Agreed......done with overpaid professional spoiled brats.....wanted to see them play, not listen to their political issues

 

The NFL isn't going anywhere. The fans that they've lost due to them taking a stance on certain issues, were just the casual ones that barely took a passing glance at it. They have TV deals, a longer season, and they're going full capacity this year. I guarantee those stands will be filled. On a separate note, I don't know why people get upset about the NFL using the platform to promote certain issues. They certainly have the right to do so. Nobody quit watching when they used the platform to promote the military, domestic violence, and breast cancer awareness. I guess when it's a topic that makes certain people squirm it's a different story. For those who quit watching, more power to them, but at the same time, were they ever truly that loyal to the product? I know me personally, players opting to use their platform to promote a message doesn't bother me. I just like the game of football. None of that matters to me, I just like to be entertained by sports.

 

So the minuscule minutes they spend talking of social issues was that bothersome? I always hated the playing of the national anthem particularly during games of importance, but they use the platform to promote "Amurrrca."

 

Athletes are athletes period. They are not paid to voice their opinion, they are paid for their athletic ability. Shut up and play the game you were physically blessed to play.

 

Yeah, but it's only a few more months before the FDA rubber stamps it.
