Yes... the light... whatever light is used, strong, stroboscopic, it might "blind" and confuse the "intruder" but also the person using it...

You said that you were worried about carrying weapons onto military bases. Guns, knives, tasers, pepper spray, bear spray, knuckle dusters,…etc are a no go.
-
The pepper spray is solely for "protestor" purposes. If there is a person on my step or aggressive around the truck. It's for out the window purposes only. It's pretty much like putting cayenne pepper right in your eyes.....sucks! And doesn't wash out easily...at all. So watch the wind. Another issue you brought up is rust. Make sure your weapon is squared away. Make sure it's lubed and the barrel is free of obstruction. You would be amazed what ends up in a barrel when you carry it. A barrel obstruction is very bad. Wash means the light that comes back at you. So if you point a very bright light in a small white room, it's going to light up the whole room like daylight and alot comes back in your face and messes up your vision aswell. I don't know anything about airguns. However, blackpoweder guns aren't considered guns by the feds. If you care about such thingsBrettj3876, Lostkeys, Rocks and 4 others Thank this.

Even with a bat, prolly won't break out the side window. Alot of deflection. You have to go in the very corner. A center punch works very well.Brettj3876, Lostkeys, Rocks and 2 others Thank this.

One More thing I forgot to mention. A person who is not used to stressful situations will get tunnel vision. You are going to pay attention to what is right in front of you only. That is bad...very bad. That person might have another person helping them right around the corner that you didn't see because you were so focused on the first threat. Situational awareness is key. Stay calm and don't let the adrenaline take over.
Brettj3876, Lostkeys, Rocks and 2 others Thank this. -
Actually FL and KW only have a few different keys. So it's likely someone else at the TS will have the same key as well. Per our main shop guy.cke, Brettj3876, Eldiablo and 3 others Thank this.

Weapon inside the sleeper of the truck out of reach from the driver's seat is legal in all 50 states as long as it's not a restricted weapon.
The sleeper is your domicile and you have a right to protect your domicile. This was told to me by a California highway patrolman at the Mojave scale house.
Now in areas where carrying one is restricted such as a military base you should be able to hand it in to the gate and retrieve it once you've left.PoleCrusher, cke, shooter19802003 and 4 others Thank this. -
Your mostly correct in the passenger windows. But a guy on meth can put his fist right through one. And their are the guys that know how to do it right. Spring loaded center punch were ever the info is etched in to it. Drops in half a blink of a eye. Anything with a great point will work. But the fireman's center punch is magical.Last edited: Aug 10, 2021

Or things worse than meth.
Had one of these guys attack an elderly (80’s) couple in a Waffle House right down street from my house. 8 civilians, 6 cops 2 tasers to get the guy down and then he dies suddenly. The local news didn’t say a word. All the local cops and all medical personnel and first responders are kept informed on stuff like this, but they do their best to keep this under wraps in a tourist town. Kinda reminds me of that goofy Mayor on JAWS. -
PCP is one hell of a drug ^^^^
TripleSix, PoleCrusher, jamespmack and 2 others Thank this.
