Quite often, I notice trucks on the road that seem very custom/personalized, at least judging by the exterior – but of course I'm not too sure what they look like on the inside. Anyway, I'm wondering about how common or popular it is to personalize your truck, both interior and exterior?

I guess I'm just curious to know how important it is to "add your own personal touches" so to speak, and if anyone here has personalized their truck at all? I mean, if you have to live in the truck, or at least be in it for hours at a time, I assume that it's better to have it at least somewhat tailored to your needs and preferences, or to do something that makes it feel like home.

Would love to hear some people's experiences with this, I'm not sure why but I am always curious about it!

I drive a company truck, so it’s pretty much interchangeable with our other trucks.

You could look them up online. Photos of the nices big rig trucks in the USA. "Top 10 Big Rigs in the USA" something like that.

Are we talking about actual custom, or Prime trucks with a bunch of gaudy decals and extraneous crap? Or the Volvo crowd with dingleberries hanging above the windshield, and those retarded Michelin dolls next to the useless light bar?

Thanks for the reply! That makes sense that a company truck isn't super personalized. Would you want your truck to be more personalized to you or is it not that big a deal really?

Thanks for the reply! I was assuming that drivers who own their trucks would have a little bit more freedom when it comes to customization. Is it better/more enjoyable to drive a truck that's more personalized to you? Or does it not really make much of a difference?

Hahaha, I'm just curious about anything and everything I guess, even that stuff! Just wondering about how people put their own personal touches on their truck or make it feel like home.

I'm going to the decal shop later this week to get a small quote on the back of my cab, otherwise it's all creature comforts inside the truck. Eventually adding a tool box outside, and a Bambi basher. I'm still debating on upgrading my rear lights and mudflaps, but that's a pretty low priority. I own my own truck, leased to a company with somewhat flexible appearance standards.
