New authority - help with paperwork and other steps please?

    a little unclear on title. seller will sign the title I will sign the title as well, put my LLC name as the owner ...will i need to mail it somewhere to get "new" title ?

    @TallJoe did a really good list of everything awhile back. That thread also got in to everything you have to remember to renew each year.

    Worth a find if you can find it. Haven't heard a peep from TallJoe lately.

    That's quite a long list to remember for someone who is also a driver and dispatcher looking for freight every day, then accounting and billing.
    Therefore, I advise to pay someone knowledgeable and trustworthy to set up a new authority. For instance, OOIDA.
    All these things, once started correctly are easier to follow and ... eventually remember.
