    When u do finally get to court explain to the judge that all the trouble you’ve gone through to take care of this issue. Explain that the fine was 1500 but you e already missed three days of work and spent countless dollars getting there. You would like him to reduce the fine for your loss income.

    Thanks for your replies. Here is an update. I called the clerk's office this morning, and stated I wished to do a search for any outstanding citations in my name. I gave him my DOB and my driver's license number. He did two separate searches. He pulled up a history of 6 violations. None of them recent. And no outstanding violations. So it seems to me this $1500 violation has miraculously vanished. I say miraculously because I have been praying for a good outcome. I am part-time driver with health issues and do not receive any type of public assistance. I pay $1150 a month in rent. This citation devastated me. I am not going to go down to the clerk's office and ask them where my citation went. I am going to let a sleeping dog lay. This citation requires a mandatory court appearance. But if there is no record of it, I will take my chances. Please wish me luck.

    Okay Harry, GOOD LUCK!!
    if there is no record of it, I will take my chances.

    Personally I would have asked for some Verified PROOF be sent to I before discounting the whole debacle.
    D.O.B. and License number = Nothing = GREAT, now please send a Court Labeled Document clarifying such and Thank You!

    Actually I would argue that as the ticket is defective, made out to the wrong person, the ticket must be dismissed. I know that's what a lawyer would say.
