ive had my class A since december of 2018. ive had 7 jobs in my trucking career and cant find my niche. ive done dry van, reefer, flatbed, and liquid and dry bulk. i have every endorsement and twic. i really liked doing flatbed but... i hurt my wrist and back doing it. my problem now is i need a lot more home time due to my daughters mother comminting suicide. i have to be home a lot more. otr is not an option at all. i also have a company(ATS) falsely reporting to my dac saying that i rolled one of their truck. yes, i disputed the false reports with hire right and gave the accident report. its still on my dac. ive had several companies over look this after i provided the crash report. i just want to make decent money, not be gone all the time and dont feel like im being taken advantage of. im out of metro atlanta, ga... specifically marietta.

LTL’s only care about MVR. I’d go city p&d to be sure you home daily M-F daytime weekends off. Still make 80k easy at 50 hrs roughly potential for 100k with good OT. Old Dominion, Estes, Saia, ABF, XPO, FedEx Freight, R&L, Dayton etc in no particular order. Get your Hazmat and doubles endorsement go apply.

There’s plenty of companies in north metro Atlanta .

    check with Taylor’s in Cartersville

pretty sure they do a lot of local stuff.
I think they also run otr. But I see alot of daycabs , with dump trailers. And dump trucks
I think They haul sand and gravel to supply a lot of the cement plants.

    always nice looking rigs too.

LTL all the way. Or food service as a last resort. If you have McLane around you apply there. Top pay there is over a 100k a year. Some guys on here were hitting close to 120k a year
