How to find a cracked bellow. My boss says it’s what the problem is but where and how do I go about finding out where! It’s a high chirp sound that is made when the jakes kick in only when under load it doesn’t do it in a parked situation??

Guessing you’re talking about the exhaust bellows between the turbos on an ACCERT cat engine? You should see black soot marks if there is an exhaust leak somewhere.

Yea just look for the blackening around the area adjacent to where the leak is.

If this is on an acert those cracks can be very hard to see, and don’t always leave a spot trail. Wait for it to cool down then start running your fingers around every rib and groove that you cannot see. Just be careful as they can be quite sharp.
