Yeah I don't think I'd cancel it either. Most Landstar loads can be run as an outside carrier, which I'm sure you already know.

Spot market is fine. You have plenty of experience. Factor thru Loves get paid the next day. You will find regular shippers etc. I’d never pay Landstar what they charge.

Well, if doing it for someone else and doing it for yourself is a zero sum game, why would you take on the aggravation of doing it for yourself?

It’s really not that much work. Factor, OOIDA to file your Authority stuff when needed. I pay Loves 4% non recourse.

Honestly, there wouldn't be any extra aggravation and might actually be less.

I don't think the "extra" paperwork involved is really a big deal. Heck IFTA takes me about 10 minutes every quarter to submit it. The initial filing is the worst part.

It would about to about $500 more a month for doing nothing but chasing around a few more pieces of paper. Not as lot of money but $6000 is a nice vacation every year.

I appreciate it but I haven't made up my mind on doing it yet. I'm pretty comfortable in what I've got going on.

I have two goals in my trucking career that I haven't accomplished yet, one being having my own authority and the other is having a fleet of trucks. Those were both on my list of goals when I started this journey many moons ago. It won't be a failure if I don't pursue them but I haven't given up on them yet either.

    Keep on keeping on...
