Cheeseburger in Paradise?

I stopped off in Hawthorne, NV yesterday and had a really fantastic cheeseburger. Got me to thinking, seeing as the two best cheeseburgers I have had in years were both this year. I thought maybe others could share where they know one can get a fantastic cheeseburger.

Here are mine:

#1 - Heff's Burgers
215 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802

I had the bucket burger and this was truly a phenomenal undertaking. The bun was flavored with Jalapeno & Cheese and the burger had cheese, bacon, grilled onions jalapenos & mushrooms. Best burger I've had in years.

#2 - Peppers Place
1005 C St, Hawthorne, NV 89415

I had the Jalapeno cheeseburger. The fixings were however one orders it along with cheese and Jalapenos. The Jalapenos had kick, the burger was several inches tall. The meat had that crustyness and the bun was toasted in butter with a crunch almost. The girls working this spot were super friendly. Great experience. It looks like they even have a makeshift comedy club out back for special events.



This was a welcome respite after passing through the hellish purple haze from the fires.
