Arrow Trucking reportedly closes its doors

That's called being laid off. They will have to pay unemployment if you report yourself laid off and push the issue.

 

My thoughts and prayers go out to the drivers and their families, this is just unbelievable! (Except that it is very believable!)

sitting down here in hammond la, heard a couple of drivers on the radio selling their tarps and chains. hope they can make it back in time for the holiday.

You know, I just spoke with Arrow a few weeks backs, the school informed us they were hiring, however, they wanted us to be in orientation in just a couple days, I hadn't really checked them out so I passed, but another guy from my school went with them and headed of for orientation just a couple weeks ago...

 

Wonder which co is next? This ain't over.

 

Probably at least one more good sized company and several smaller companys when tag buying time comes.

 

Might be a good time for drivers to start checking out their co's to see how they are doing debt wise compared to profit margin. I would suggest for all company drivers the next time you get home get rid of all the extra junk in your truck. Pack a duffel bag and take nothing more to make it easier to get home if need be.
