Well, sure can say that's not just CB chattered rumors. Glad I decided againest going to work for them after a job offer. I'll just stick with reefer or dry van. Word has it flat bed all around has been having some issues of sitting a lot. Merry Christmas to those and their families. Hope it get's better for them.

 

I'm sitting cause I've been running for 14.5 hours and I've still got 3 loads stacked up to do tomorrow before I can get home, lol.

 

... Looks like Arrow is belly up.

I feel really bad for all the drivers they left stranded and broke three days before Christmas....

I am willing to bet that in the next 30 days we will see more of this happening.

a lot of trucking companies are a accident or breakdown away from bankruptcy, the bottom feeders that run freight at or below operating costs are running out of money real quick and now that we are coming into the slow season they will burn thru what they have left quickly, and make their problems even worse by reducing their rates even further trying to snag what few loads there will be which will burn their reserves even faster

 

^^^ And dont forget that registration renewal is coming up in january.

 

And the new rules with the economy probably taking a further dip.

 

IF i were stuck in a arrow truck like that i would sell what ever i could of that truck and get HOME

 

Its a shame that a company would leave it drivers stranded with no warning on christmas. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU. If any of you drivers need a ride going in my direction ill give yall a ride

 

I wouldn't bet on Maverick folding up, at least not in the near future...things appear to be looking pretty good at Maverick from where I'm sitting.
