Well ill find out. My snapon lasted 13 years. I just didn't wanna by thier batteries again. 5 of that was riding around in a heavy wrecker. Wish I had the Milwaukee sooner.

I did mention, I wouldnt do it for everyday shop use. But she saved the day putting springs and shocks in my freuhauf trailer in a parking lot.

We've had the harbor freight "Earthquake" 3/8 and 1/2 for about 5 years now and still going strong. For the part time mechanic you can't beat em for the price. Has no problems taking lugs off. Zip em back on and and torque em down with the wrench

I use a torque multiplier with a calibrated torque wrench, works with no issues.

I have this smallish pneumatic impact wrench and run it off my trucks air supply via a 50ft gladhand air hose with a quick connect fitting. Struggles with old well rusted lugs and studs but works. Long air hose limits it to around 400-500lb of torque, but I'm just basing this on the lugs being around 450lb according to my torque wrench. Sometimes the wrench clicks right away, sometimes I get half to a full turn before it hits 450lb.

Got one of these CDI's. 3/4" Dr 100-600 Ft Lbs / 169-779 Nm CDI Adjustable Torque Wrench - 6004MFRMH

As far as everyone's comments on the battery powered M18 Milwaukee high torque impacts, they are great tools every o/o should have. Got a 3/4" about a year ago and liked it so much that I also got a 1/2" one more recently. I would have never bought a compressor years ago if they had these or I had known about them.

My MAC 1/2" air impact will do most wheels with next to no effort. A few ugga duggas when going on will get it to the point where a torque wrench will move them about 1/4 turn for 500 ft-lbs.

D.Tibbitt and Bean Jr. Thank this.
