Job market is getting worse for drivers... Arrow shut its doors today, no warning... cut off the fuel cards, and told the drivers to deliver their trucks to the nearest Freightliner.

Thats over 1k more truckers out of work in one day.

Merry Christmas everyone! Wow, I can't believe the bad news with Arrow! Just 6 months ago I was deciding on my new career with Prime or Arrow...I'm so glad I made the right decision. As for the Arrow drivers tossed to the curb light rubbish, I hope you give Prime a call.

The third one is a Cascadia... that would be as in "FreightLiner."

Then you shouldn't have labeled it as a Pete...

Prime ordered Columbia's? The Columbia isn't any different than the Century other than the hood and the dash. The Century has all independant gauges as where the Columbia has all the gauges jammed together in a single cluster which is a bit of an eye sore. The Century is basically the more "upper class" of the two truck's as it is built a little better.

The only Columbia's I ever saw on that yard was two. Both white and one belonged to a black guy that is an O/O for a company out of Neosho, MO. and they just pull Prime's trailer's and account's. The other one I saw was a blank that sat there a while with no number's, decal's or anything.

I hate it for those of you who end up with those Pete's. If you are of the plus size, you #### sure won't like it because it's cramped like the KW is.

"384" will be the number of landfill's needed to dispose of all that junk once they figure out how un-driver friendly those truck's will be, and they are equipting all the truck's and trailer's with super singles. ####, those tire's are hella expensive to replace and your pretty much a sitting duck if you ever blow one out because you won't have anything to "hobble" on at least down to the next truck stop up off the road way. Try to hobble on a flat/ blown super and you'll end up paying for that expensive ### rim too!

I'm a fan of the old 379's but only as show trucks. I would never use one to work in, but that there is just garbage. I hate it for those of you who have to stay out for an extened long period of time.

I swear Freightliner was supposed to have stopped making the Century and Columbia 2 years ago when the Cascadia came out.

Well, that was the word. Website still show's them in the different setup's. I'm glad they didn't. They should put the FLD120 back on the market too. I've noticed the Century is a favorit of some big companies so as long as those companies want them they will still produce. As for the Cascadia, I think it's junk IMHO. To new, to quiet, storage space suck's. Can't remove a cabnet to put in a real fridge. All the control button's on the wheel. I'm sure a monkey can drive one of those POS. I won't ever step foot back in another one.
