i went there and they are not scamers at all. the down payments are what they say they are and the 695 is a bonding fee to protect there investors. you rent the truck for the specified time and at the end, pay only the trucks depreciated value and get a title free and clear. they are expensive but they also dont do anything in 24 hrs. they cater to anyone. not only those with bad credit. if we both buy 30000 trucks today in three years you will owe 20grand or so, with them, i will have a truck that is dep valued at 12000 or so, guess what i pay? i didnt buy a truck from them just tellin tha facts.

On the towing issue, I was told they cover it if necessary ! If its minor, it can be done anywhere and they pay 50 %. I don't know how much higher the payments are to "rent" vs. buy but a 48 month warranty (50/50) is better than what most used trucks have unless you pay extra for it.

I've rented a volvo 670 with 600k plus miles on it. Because of my inexperience and bad credit, I dealt with these crooks. I was paying 699.00 per week and if the payment was not in by noon. The scumbags would call you for the payment. I was leased on to Landstar at the time. Between the crooks at Landstar and this rental truck place, I was basically working for free. I put a security deposit of $6750 and $250.00 pocessing fee. In 3 months I paid these scumbags over $15,000 between deposit and payments. The truck had some serious front end issues and was killing steer tires. I finally gave up and told them to come get the truck in Florida where it worn the tires until the wire started to show. I dealt with a guy name Chris and he is a piece of work. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. The tractors for the most part or worn out fleet junk from companies that did'nt maintain them well. BEWARE!

Thanks for the heads up ....
Anyone ever heard of "Get a sleeper today" which is Regional financial inc. They have a similar deal but the BBB gives them a B+ rating. They have a warranty on all of their trucks but I know there's got to be a catch somewhere.

their website says they're a broker and that they get all of their trucks from fleets.. it doesn't really say anything about being an actual dealer.

Looking for others that have experience with United Truck Group out of Gulfport MS. Our experience was extremely unpleasant but looking for info on anyone that has leased to own a truck from them. We are considering a class action suit as they have not met their financial obligations to us. Please reply to this message and I will monitor it.

Not only did they not meet their financial obligations to us they call the law on our driver when he stopped by to pick up our deposit. The local law officer was very aware of the false nature of the call and without stating it, indicated that they would like someone to step up and put an end to the shenigans that happen there very frequently.
