for me is was a rookie Manager they brought aboard, he decided day one soon as they allowed him to fire everyone he didn’t hire that’s what he was determined to do.. He creates a paper trail of bad events to give just cause to do that. He is hostile toward employees and customers and there’s no accountability for his behavior, it’s your word against his and his two crony assistant associates. I’m back in the teamsters now and things are so much better. I do my job and don’t deal with immature adolescent attitudes

That's it right there. To some people, the company can do no wrong. To others, they never do anything right. I try to be fair, but this is by far the best job I've had.

I've had the privilege of having so many bad trucking jobs in my career that I can't help but see how good I have it at Dayton, so I will certainly admit I'm a little biased by my prior experience.

Are you p&d or linehaul? My job is sweet (p&d) we're a small terminal though and everyone gets along. The benefits are good though.

No, bc of the union locals you have to re-apply to another terminal, unfortunately.

Unless you change terminals during a change of operations. But generally this is right.

Once you get a bid, life at least gets predictable. Predictable is good.
