I do indeed. Although I was already looking forward to the wife taking me out for a steak dinner which she has to do on all clean inspections

I got the level one today. Was taking an alternate route and the WSP officer was going the other way. He turned around and flagged me over.

He gave me a window sticker and the port a chaffed airline ticket for the chassis.

Actually was a descent dude. Figured out the truck/driver was not the reason for the alternate route.

I got lucky at each open scale I rolled by today in Montana. Each time every truck in front of me got the message "park bring in paperwork". When I rolled across just a green light:cool:

I pulled into an open truck check today, and the nice trooper just asked, "did they give you a scale ticket?"

I said yup, waved it above the window so he could see it, and said ,"I'm about 82,000". He just nodded and told me to get out of there. And the other nice troopers all waved goodbye as I pulled out. What a country!

Crickets in the Midwest and south for inspections. Of course it's 95 degrees and humid. History tells me to not pay attention to their proclaimed "inspection weeks". It will be balls to the wall inspections for the next six weeks as soon as the weather breaks.

New Mexico was on their own blitz a few weeks ago. Was seeing check stations open that still needed the weeds cut back.

Have had a level 2 at the same check station 5 times, by the same officer in the last year.
I think we’re at a point that we should be on a first names basis.

I'm 47. I sometimes wonder if I'll live long enough to read Keith Richards obituary
