    I don't know. Food service usually pays by the hour plus piece count pay and other pays. That's why the drivers make really good annual pay. Go-getters are knocking down $100K per year.

    I think the sun is setting on the days of cheap truck drivers , at least in some segments.
    I deal with some beer distributors and they can't find drivers either .

    Was at a service plaza and the place was low on food. Then a Mclane truck showed up. Been hearing guys over there can make $700 a day on the weekends. They’ve been adding additional pay for weekends. Mclane offering 15k sign on bonuses. It’s pretty crazy for Foodservice. Been running into a lot of former Sysco guys they have to now run 6 days. So they’ve been quitting and going to LTL. That’s killer in Foodservice to work 6 days. You only want to work 4 days on a average work week to recover.
