Interestingly enough the "end of days destruction by fire bit" fits what will happen eventually, we're just helping to push it a bit faster. Melting ice also result in more cold fresh water in the Atlantic, this slows down the conveyer belt which helps regulate ocean temperatures. As the belt shows further, and potentially eventually stops we'll see major atmospheric changes which include major droughts leading to uncontrollable fires. Then there are the millions who will die due to no longer being able to mass produce foods.

So the natural occurrence of the ocean cycle that brings about the ice Age and cools the planet.

If the saline level in the oceans doesn't go down. The planet won't cool. Once those currents stop taking warm water north. Places will begin to cool like they are supposed to be.

 

Thus the reason I stated we are helping to push it, not the only cause of it. The Earth goes through cycles, with or without us, the problem is that we need to be building infrastructure that is ready for these events. Instead mankind is like the HR/ Safety creatures playing from behind, then surprised when bad spit happens.

 

We've had a few hundred years to get ready. LOL

Yet we've done nothing. It's only in the last 60 years that science has even begun trying to understand it. Then anytime they stated something, they did it as absolute fact rather than potential (you know, the way Fouci has been with COVID) so people stopped listening to projections. That's the problem with politicizing science, and lacking any sense of humble spirit. Anytime you're wrong the other side uses it as ammo, and even when you're right they won't listen because it's not coming from a source they like.
