    I've always maintained those memorials you see where someone bought it at an intersection or on the highway..........the one's that are constantly maintained..............that's someone's guilt.

    I just think you are just feeling empathy for a person whom you respect and appreciate various acts on his part, maybe not to you, but to another person. I am old, but I can recite times I did things for people that did not seem so important in my thinking.
    But; afterward, I learned just how much it meant to them at the time. Made me so glad I had done it.

    People feel guilty for doing the opposite of what you are......nothing. Too self absorbed to make an effort to go visit.

    Then someone passes on. So they are wrought with guilt, not grief, and send $200 in flowers, offer " Is there anything we can do?"

    Yea there's something they could have done, gotten off their ###, taken a moment of their precious time and paid someone a visit.
