Love trucking, but starting to hate everything that comess with being a trucker now a days. Actually making money right now tho so I guess can't have my cake amd eat it to

With the electronic logbook I have no time at all to exercise.(I used to have folding bike with me,no anymore)The electronic logbook that's make me feel wird if go out of the truck .I'm crossing border often and there are often customs portals down or manifest issues.By the way I create my manifest perfectly but still no EDL update done by company or invoices need to be corrected.All businesses trying to use non human support and it's very difficult to fix problems and losing only the hour will stop you to use Canadian clock .This is few pictures of the time now and in the past ,when I had paper logbook , crossing border with pars or paps only ,governor at 67 mph .I stoped and went for running ,took a shower and driving like free bird still safely .The new guys will not be able to understand that becouse they never experienced it .This is new normal for them .I know the good years and to compare to what we have now is depressing. I have to say that every one of us know how to overplay those changes and make this job enjoyable but it's not the same .The new regulations are made by new gestapo ,people heiters who wants us to suffer daily .

Always loved big rigs & have wanted to get my lic for many years but never really had the need. Now seems to be the right time to take the plunge & have another skill under my belt to earn some dough.

Sadly it seems there are a lot of truckers who are really sick of trucking and hate the business. Would love to hear from anyone who still enjoys the job & why.

For me it is still OK to drive. I drive local and so long I can hear via web all the news and sience and politics it is OK. When I am home too long, then I am not up to date with the news.
The ting which I like there compare to other jobs is that until now no body can push the drivers in case of the killerzombysupermonsterultraapocalypsevirus to wear a face diaper during work.

stopped driving after 14 months. not worth it unless u making $30+/hr for me personally.
