2 axle rgn guys

    I see alot of 2 axle rgn guy putting machinery and other small loads all the way to the back of the trailer well and just run it, do you guys check the weight on the axles and adjust or does DOT just doesn't care?

    A little easier to get under with a mechanical if the load is back. Lift it and then walk it to where you want it is what a lot of guys do.

    Hey now! You’re giving away all the secrets. At the time I was pulling that trailer with a ten speed auto transmission truck with no ramps. The majority of our work is tall, light crates, not 45k pound dozers.

    I would balance the drives and the trailer axles. Too heavy on the backend can create handling problems. Plus, I like to have some weight on the drive axles.
