All Swift drivers got a Qcomm message from CEO of company. It said to help out Arrow drivers. If you see a Swift truck just ask.

Got on with Swift in September. Haven't has any of the bad expierences that you read about. I got lucky and have an excellent DM. Of course I got on a dedicated account, and that makes a big diffence. I average 2400 miles a week, and that isn't bad. The good part is it is steady.

You are in the Arrow post. Your husband isn't one of those stranded drivers is he?

It had been going down hill ever since Mr. Pielsticker was killed several years ago and they have had some financial problems threw the last few years. If I had Doug Pielsticker home address and phone number I would post it all over the net for the world to see, he is something else. He was more into being a show off and look at what I have then running a company. He was far from being like his old man.

Their was one driver that called into the Lockridge show on XM saying he had two months left on his lease and he was going to call the finance company and see if he could finish paying it out. lol. I am sorry but Arrow has been taking your payments out of your check but they haven't been making any payments lately and the finance company has no recored of you.

 

The last time I remember drivers getting stuck on a large scale was back in 2001 on a DOT crackdown . I think the company was TVI or something similar. IWX told us to pickup there drivers and bring them back to our terminal. I thought it was weird that a company from the outside cared more about the drivers than the company that employed them.

 

If I see a Arrow truck I will check to make sure there alright, don't really care what the company has to say. Driver should always look out for drivers, it is the way it should be. We use to feel a comradeship or kinsman ship toward one another .

It is kind of sad it takes a mishap to bring out these underlying feelings, it should be there all the time. Drivers really need to hang tough and back each other this is going to get worse before it gets better, I'm afraid.

 

I seen three Arrow trucks at the Petro in Joplin yesterday and completely empty and nobody home. Talked to some in Dallas and they were selling tarps, chains, boomers, straps etc... so they could recoup some money.

Well it sounds like their will be a lot of work for the wrecker company's.
