Wilson antennas

    I have a Wilson K40. Can I also run a Wilson Stryker or K1000 with it ?

    There are Wilson 1000s, and there are K40s, and there are Strykers. All different.

    Just one is a Wilson.

    My question is----- can you run a k1000 with a K40.?

    Apologies, but I don't understand the question. My interpretation is that you are asking about "running" two antennas, a "k1000 with a K40", together.

    Are you asking if you can run a co-phased antenna setup using those two antennas? If that is the question, then I'd think you would want to run two absolutely identical antennas in a co-phase configuration in order to avoid any mismatching between the two, because getting a matched two-antenna system is a hurtle, and so eliminating any potential obstacles such as using different antennas would seem advisable.

    That said, I've never set up a two-antenna co-phased mobile system, so I frankly am speculating without actual experience.

    No. Not if you’re trying to run two antennas in a phase array.

    Running two different ant for the same radio is like running a big fat 35"tire and one of those emerg lil donut wheel n tire deal on same axle....
    Yes it can be done but you end up in a world of issues...
