Roll'n 63 over to Springfield, MO for a stop. There is a Cattlemans steakhouse at the same get off as the Loves that is walking distance or you can park it at that comfort inn to eat. Not sure if you can park there for a 10 though..?

 

Bring a couple rifles. Lots of Prarie dogs to shoot!

 

My brothers already got that covered. 7mm-08 and the AR. Might have some issues bringing my 308 on the plane Lol

 

No, no real vacation..
Just hung around the house, no phone, no internet, no work related thoughts..

Cleaned the gutters, trimmed some trees, bushes, annoyed my Lady from time to time..

 

It could be better... it could be worse... it's what it is...
I take too long to make decisions.... and haven't planned things as well as I should... I have also added more things to my to do list before I go back on the road... if I do go back on the road... cause the long I stay out of the truck, the less I look forward to it and the less confidence I have in my skills... two years out of the truck makes a difference... And a lot has changed... that I don't like... In my former company, and the trucks, and parking and places...
Told my former company that I was considering regional rather than OTR... Visited one company, called a few... nothing yet... have a few others to check...
I still love the road... but my best trucking days are behind me... made good money, enjoyed the truck and enjoyed myself going to new places every day.... but also paid a high price for that... with my health... and I am not excited about going back... but I don't know what else to do...
Anyway, if I find a carrier that is a "good" match, I may go back... and God willing, I will not screw up... but only time will tell....
So many changes going on due to this endless pandemic... plus other things going on in this country... they are here to stay... For a while I thought about the possibility of going back to Brasil after a few years if conditions here became too bad... but then... conditions there may become too bad either...
So... I am keeping my things in the storage and not planning anything long term...

 

There's a lot of pushback to that stuff here already.

Looking at videos from over in Europe it looks like its starting to get violent over there.

I could care less if they bar me from society. I always come out the winner every time life tries to knock me down anyways.
