I see you have posted a couple of threads on different companies tonight. What are you looking for? Local job where you can work and earn a cdl?
feldsforever Thanks this. -
So you no longer love tequila?Hatt91, HiramKingWilliams, Texas_hwy_287 and 2 others Thank this.

If your goal is getting the CDL, sometimes a local agent for the large bed bigger outfits will work you from a loader, delivery helper into a straight Truck, and up to a semi. Pay for schooling with no catches. Just have to find the right company.
-
He can't give up tequila to become CDL holder ! ....tough choice but he is still hooked on the idea of us making millions of $
-
it stinks.
you WILL BE taking appliances into homes, with a helper, up or down, several flights of stairs.
you will work in all sorts of weather
you will go home when they have no deliveries, so you can lose money each week.
Lowes does NOT have thier own trucks anymore, it is a contracting company
you will not like working at lowes.snowman1980 and road_runner Thank this. -
Yes... If i can get a job at lowes as a delivery driver, I'll be able to get some kind of driving experience and find a trucking school that operates classes at night to assist me in getting my cdl
-
like i said, i guess you did not read it, Lowes doesn't do thier own deliveries anymore, at least not up here in my area.
and if you do see a Lowes truck? it might be the contracting company that took over the equipment.
and they REQUIRE a CDL, BEFORE you can be hired. -
I really wish they would hire drivers that don't require a cdl... Seemed like a job that would be perfect while i study the cdl handbook to prepare for my test
-
What about ltl? Most have dock to driver programs.buddyd157 Thanks this.
