I am definitely not an alarmist, nor do I jump on the doom and gloom bandwagon. That said, I have to admit to some serious grave concerns that climate change is real.

For the last 3 days, I have been working in Wyoming. Pretty much all over the state. During this time, I have yet to encounter any wind. Not one wholly sheeetz 83 mph gusts that makes the lane change for you. Not even a breeze strong enough to tousle my hair. Sky’s have been almost fully cloud free. A bit of haze from all the smoke.

Anyone denying that climate change is real, is stuck more in political ideology than facts. We know that the storms are more severe some years, and we have seen uncharacteristic weather patterns on a more frequent basis. I'm not an alarmist either, and I don't buy the politicized science making the conditions 100% human; but I do believe that we as a species want to continue our fairly easy way of life we have to be more diligent.
The problem is that when governments take control of the initiatives we make "choices" that are no better than the fossil fuels they scream about. Strip mining, using materials that are extremely carbon intensive to produce and can't be recycled, etc.. are knee-jerk reactions.

. Yes he seems to think an hour is too long and wondered if something was wrong. Apparently he is too stupid to figure out that after an hour nothing was wrong. Once again proving ex drivers make poor dispatchers.

An hour daily to me seems exaggerated, but I'm not the one operating another drivers equipment. As long as the equipment is safely operating, andyou are meeting scheduled pickups/deliveries I'd politely tell him where he could put it. Hell, an hour pretrip could potentially save a 3 hour road call, extensive equipment damage, or even loss of life.
